The movie begins with the news channel showing report of India becoming a superpower by launching rocket and the reporter asking common people about it and their replies are very careless that there is nothing to do with them as they are common people. In the next scene, IAS officer Madhivadhani Nayanthara interacting and arguing with his senior and giving her resignation from the post of collector and blaming government system for it and taking the support of common people.
Then the story movie to a flashback from the present day where there is a family consist of 4 people, father, mother and their two kids an elder boy Mantu and his younger sister Danshika. Here the IAS officer, collector visits a village to analyze their problem. People gathered around her started to tell her all the problems they are facing sadly and the biggest problem is water. She feels bad for their sufferings and promises them for their betterment. She tells them that this the result of some corrupt people.
And being emotional she decides that she will not drink water until their problem of water gets to sort out. Madhivadhani noticed that many water tankers are getting supply to big hotels and construction site hence she instantly orders to cease that tanker and send them to the villagers. Now coming back to the present day her senior was questioning her that who gave the authority to distribute water?
Police was informed about it and Madhivadhani also gets information. Police, fire brigade and all reached to the spot. Soon the news gets viral and to media also and aired on news channel.
