My pet hate for Apple updates to IOS are the size is never available. FYI the iPhone 7 is just under 2. No issues on last update, will wait already consumed over 5Gb in too short a time. Sure another will be released in days. Tony, get a Samsung phone and you will never again have to complain about the size of updates. Do you complain about the size of beer cans taking up too much space in the garbage can?? I have an iPhone 8 plus with iOS This definitely does not fix the crackling problem.
Actually never noticed it on Horrible now. My 7 has never exhibited static calls. Might be a carrier issue. Battery life has been the worst with iOS Does this fix crackling and terrible call quality on iPhone 7 too? That has been a long problem. I get crackling call audio periodically on my iPhone 7 Plus. Aside from the horrible call ability and not having a headphone jack which is the most annoying and inconvenient thing for a phone to require dongles to connect to audio, I like the iPhone 7 Plus enough and see no reason to get an 8 which is really barely a 7s.
Just my 2cents. I sure hope this update fixes it. What carrier are you using? I had my 6sPlus on T-Mobile for quite some time and it was stellar with sound quality. Superb actually. I switched to Verizon and the sound quality of calls has dropped rather significantly.
